How we make money
App Scavenger is free to use. We are paid by some software companies when people buy their products through us. Here is exactly how, and what money never changes.
Last updated 21 October 2026.
Affiliate links
Some "Visit" buttons are affiliate links. If you click one and later buy, the software company may pay us a commission. You pay the same price either way. Every affiliate link is labelled next to the button, and you can always reach the company by typing its address yourself.
We count clicks on "Visit" and pricing links, and visits to product pages, to see which tools people are interested in. Only the product and the page are recorded: no name, email, IP address or tracking cookie.
Deals sold on App Scavenger
When a company offers a deal here, it pays us a share of each sale. How it works explains the rates.
What money never changes
- Trust scores. They come only from customer reviews and renewals.
- The order products appear in on category, search and comparison pages.
- Which products get a comparison page.
- Which reviews are shown, or whether a review is published.
- What we write about a product. Listings are written from the company's own website, whether or not it pays us.
