Review software renewals before they charge
Most wasted software spend comes from renewals nobody noticed. A short regular look at what renews next lets you cancel, downgrade or negotiate in time.

App Scavenger My stack
What happens
When
Once a week, or a month before an annual renewal.
Then
- You check what renews in the next 30 days.
- For each, the owner confirms it is still used and on the right plan.
- Unused tools are cancelled before the charge.
How the tools connect
Through an automation tool such as Zapier, Make, n8n or Power Automate, which watches for the event in one app and acts in the other.
Set it up
Add each tool you pay for to My stack, with its renewal date and an account owner.
Use labels for teams or clients so each owner sees their own list.
Put a recurring 15-minute review in the calendar.
Menus change, so these steps say what to do rather than where to click. Each company's help pages have the current screens.
Watch out for
- Annual plans often need notice weeks before renewal. Check each contract.
Track these tools in My stack
Add the software you pay for and see which automations you can set up with it.

Turn a won deal into an invoice
Re-typing client details and amounts from the CRM into accounting software is slow and causes mistakes. Creating the invoice from the deal keeps names, amounts and products the same in both places.

Bring card payments into your accounts
Matching card payouts to sales by hand is one of the most tedious bookkeeping jobs. Connecting your payment provider brings in transactions and fees so reconciliation is mostly matching, not typing.

Send online shop sales to your accounting software
Shops with many small orders can't enter sales one by one. Syncing them gives you up-to-date revenue and sales tax figures.
