Get receipts into your books without typing / Lesson 1 of 3
Capture receipts from your phone and inbox
Paper receipts go in by photo and emailed receipts arrive on their own.
About 10 minutes
Step by step
Install the app
Start SparkReceipt's 7-day free trial and install the iPhone or Android app. The mobile and web apps share the same account.
Snap paper receipts
Take a photo of a receipt with the app. If you have no signal, it keeps the receipt and processes it once you are back online. PDFs and images can also be uploaded.
Connect your email inbox
Link a Gmail, Outlook/Microsoft or IMAP inbox once. SparkReceipt then checks new mail and keeps only receipts and invoices; newsletters and promotions are discarded.
Or forward instead
If you would rather not connect the inbox, set an auto-forwarding rule in Gmail or Outlook that sends receipt emails to your own SparkReceipt address, shown in your account.
Catch up on old receipts
Scan past emails using a date range to pull in receipts you already have.
Good to know
- The Pro plan includes one connected inbox and 50 documents a month; Elite allows several inboxes and is unlimited under fair use.
