Run your team in Notion: wiki and projects / Lesson 3 of 3

Keep it current and work on it together

People discuss work on the page itself, and important pages show who keeps them up to date.

About 10 minutes

Video from Notion's guide on working together in pages. By Notion (official), played from YouTube.

Step by step

  1. Discuss on the page

Use Add discussion at the top of a page, or highlight text and press Cmd/Ctrl + Shift + M to comment on it. @mention a teammate to notify them.

  2. Verify key pages

On a wiki page you own, click the Verification section at the top and choose to verify until a date or indefinitely, so readers know it is current.

  3. Name an owner

Open the page, select Verified at the top, then Owner, and add the person responsible. Every verified page needs at least one owner.

  4. Review regularly

Verify pages until a date, such as the end of the quarter, so owners are prompted to check them again.

Good to know

  • Verifying individual pages outside a wiki needs Notion's Business or Enterprise plan.
